Chardie
This may be a stupid question but is planning permission required for putting a satellite dish on the outside of the house? My wife tells me that it is required but I am certain that shes just trying to put me off getting sky TV.
Anton Redman
In the UK you normally do not need permission for one dish on a building - Conservation Areas and Listed Buildings may vary.In France you need the landlords permission on a apartment and you cannot normally put them up in direct sight of listed monuments. Otherwise I do not believe so.
Mikew
Last time I looked at pub leaflets for the two french sat providers ther was a section on the paper giving details of rights for dish installation. Might be worth picking up some at your local elec shop - although I dont know what is current.MikeW
Ron Avery
Ask at the Marie, if you are in a listed village you may well need permission or be refused, I can't say that I have seen many sprouting from the roofs in any of any of the historoc listed villages round here in
