Juleyandpaul
Hello,I have got a freeview digital box here in the UK. Can I confirm that this will not work in France in combination with a sky card and that I will need a sky box of some sort to view UK TV.Thanks in anticipationJuley
Ecossais
A Freeview / ITV Digital / On-Digital receiver receives the signal via the aerial and not a satellite dish therefore it wont work outside the intended coverage area. Sorry!
mrsmop
Your only hope is to move to wissant!, but even then you'd be very lucky to receive it.Until bbc switch off old analogue transmitters, digital transmitters are operating at very low power.I think 2008-2010, the analogue transmitters will get switched off, then they can put the digital transmitters on high power (otherwise they interfere with each other). If you get a satellite dish, there are lots of free english channels you can receive from either 13E,19E or 28E. (digibox only works at 28E (sky))
