hi , we are looking to rent long term in france, we would like a house with a bit of land, to grow veg etc.. if possible, we need a min of 3 bedrooms as we have children, we are open to all options if a farm house with land is not available, we will consider any gud long term rentals. thanks

And as with anything to do with renting a property in France where the laws may confuse you, make sure you have a proper legal contract signed by both parties, an état des lieux and the price is stated and WHAT IT INCLUDES AND WHAT IT DOES NOT. You as the renter will pay the taxe d'habitation and all the utilities usually. I would also make sure the person renting out the property is the legal owners, its not unknown for people to rent properties they don't own and collect the payment here either.
