Fleur
Hello allCan anyone help regarding my getting a blue screen dumping physical memory crash? When I restart I get this Microsoft Online Crash Analysis pagehttp://oca.microsoft.com/en/response.aspx?SGD=923b388c-4d6a-4e31-9228-6d2fecd6c049&SID=1345Solution found: contact France Telecom to obtain the updateProblem descriptionThank you for submitting an error report. The error was likely caused by Connection Monitor.SolutionConnection Monitor was created by France Telecom. France Telecom informed Microsoft that they have a solution available for the problem you reported. To learn more about the solution, France Telecom recommends that you visit the following website:http://assistance.wanadoo.fr/reponse1121.aspAdditional informationMicrosoft did not create, nor does it provide technical support for Connection Monitor. If you have trouble installing the fix or the problem you reported persists, please contact France Telecom and alert them of the problem.I'm afraid that clicking on the wanadoo link helps me not at all. I'm not very computer literate and as the instructions are in French compurer speak I'm really lost. The information talks about a message that I don't actuually receive anyway.I'm running Windows XP, via Wanadoo and have done the upgrade patch. I'm also running Norton Internet Security. Cat
Hi ManxieIt's telling you that you need to remove the "Views Bar" in Microsoft Outlook Express (which although not a fix in the real sense should nevertheless solve the problem). To do this, open Outlook, and then go to the "View" menu and click on "Layout..."You will see a group of checkboxes, uncheck the "Views Bar" box and then hit the Apply button in the bottom right hand corner. It's a workaround, but hopefully should do the trick, and costs nothing to try. Hope this helps

So that was a tad disappointing. So back to the drawing board I reckon. Arghhhh! Thanks anyway.=========================================Edited to addCathy, I've just followed your path again whilst having the original French error message open. It looks like they're suggesting unchecking the info pane (Volet d'informations).http://www.wanadoo.fr/bin/frame2.cgi?u=http%3A//assistance.wanadoo.fr/reponse1121.aspSo I've done that now and we'll see how it goes. Thanks for the leads Cathy, I would never have known where to look otherwise.
