Harvey
Usually I am able to open attachments with my emails with no problem, then occasionally, like today, I receive an email with this message above the From, Dates To, Subject OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your mail:Filename.jpg. This was sent from a Hotmail account to a Wanadoo account, if that makes any difference.Does anyone out there have any suggestions as to how I can open it? I use Outlook Express. BJSLIV
If you are satisified that it is not a some virus bearing tat. Open the OE tools menu and select options. A new window opens up, select the security tab, and untick the box which says 'Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus', and okay out of the window. You should then be OK.As this increases the chance of a something dodgy getting through. you might want to reverse the steps aboveonce you have received the attcachment.
