We have a locally purchased Sat dish + cardless digital receiver - which works ok with UK free to air (or is it free to view? Beeb/ITV3/CNN etc..).

Now is it possible (& how do I?) connect this sat dish to a Sky box so that my MIL can watch Sky in her part of the house while we can continue to watch our choices?

Is it just a case of splitting the cable (with a t-piece or splitter box) - or do we need an additional dish/LNB/dishwasher.....?

Probably been asked & answered before but can't seem to find any references.

Any help really appreciated.

Just to add, we had a single LNB dish which we have changed to a QUAD LNB, yes that's four (don't ask!). We have no problems receiving a nearly full signal on all four receivers at the same time. The only problems we get is in very heavy rain when the picture breaks up but that would be the same whether it was 1 or 4 LNBs anyway. I think we bought the quead LNB on eBay.
