Lautrec
The web site you need is www.degrouptest.comIt will tell you if your area is ADSL usable!RegardsLautrec.
Deimos
Most sites have “limited accuracy”. For example, the France Telecom site says I cannot have ADSL, even though I have had it for the last year and with Wanadoo. The www.degrouptest.com is pretty good though is not 100%. It can be late with updates when ADSL is scheduled for an area.Ian

Ron Avery
Try the english speaking help line............open 8 to 8.30 Mon to Friday:and you will be waiting for an answer from 08-00 until 20-30 Oh except for lunch time when it is closed and they ask you to call back so that you can wait all the afternoon and evening. At least that message is not as annoying as the "discover broodbond" and FT jingle. It so easy to check your eligibility for ADSL. Go to http://www.francetelecom.com/fr/In "Agence sur le net" select "internet/multimedia"In " 1 Composez Votre Formule Internet" select " Le Forfait adapte" " decouvrir"In this new window you will see on the top right "Saisissez votre n° de téléphone et votre n° de département pour tester l’éligibilité de votre ligne : You enter your phone number and department et voila If your line is OK it will tell you what you can get from Wanadoo/FT
