bigjimbishop Posted November 14, 2005 Share Posted November 14, 2005 I moved in Dec 8th 04 I got the bill last friday for perioc Jan05 to jan 06. Do I stand any chance of not paying TV licence? ChrisnJules Posted November 22, 2005 Share Posted November 22, 2005 We popped into the H Des I recently with a French speaking friend (Yes, I admit it, I am one of those boring types who have not yet picked up enough of the lingo to get past ordering a beer). We submitted a hand written note that simply said that we didn't have a TV. A document appeared in the post today that basically cancels out the 116 Euro bill for the TV license. Simple as that. As Chris and Jules said I wrote a note declaring I have no TV equipment and thats that. WOW if only the CAF and L'Assurance Maladie was that easy to deal with.
