Crevette Posted March 22, 2006 Share Posted March 22, 2006 I am moving apartment in a a couple of month and would really like to not pay my France Telecom subscription (I really dislike France Telecom and Orange for may reasons I won't state here!).I would like to go to "degroupage total" (perhaps with Free) in the new appartment - BUT I think you need to have a France Telecom line before you move over to degroupage total!This is where I am worried the evil France Telecom will drag thier nails and try to get lots of money out of me for nothing. I think the cost to open a new line is about 120 euros and then there is a charge for stopping the service (50 euro's) - also if I open a line I think there is a minimum subscription time of 6 months (6 months at 15 euros's / month = 90 euro's). Has anyone else been in a similar position - it seems I will need to pay somewhere 250 euro's just to get rid of a service I don't want, and it all goes to the nice coffers of France Telecom!
