Mark
Not quite TV, Internet or telephone, but kind of related: can anyone tell me if digital signals can be picked up anywhere, ie will my digital radio pick up Radio 4 and 5 Live, as well as French stations, in France?Apologies if this is an incredibly dumb question! Will
Digital radio signals have a very short range - there are plenty of places in UK stil unable to receive them so you stand no chance in France with the BBC. There are a few French stations but coverage, and content, is extremely limited. It can only get better, but at present is a waste of time and effort. Viv
Our bog standard radio picks up Radio 4 and 5 very well and Radio 2 on a clear day. You can listen to many radio stations over the internet too.

P
A friend in the UK has just bought his German wife a radio that connects to the Internet via his wireless internet connection - thus, giving the ability for the rado to be portable but receiving all the stations available over the internet.Paul
