Clarkkent
"I am sure I read somewhere that the Taxe D'habitation now automatically includes a TV receiving element unless you take action to not pay it. How do non France taxpayers (holiday home) go on if they have a TV in France"You just pay the Taxe d'Habitation - which, as you say, includes an amount for the tv licence.I have a second home in France. With that benefit come obligations, one of which is to make the various payments which would be expected of permanent residents, and one of these payments is the tv licence. I pay it and I don't bleat about it. Why is it that trifles such as tv licences are turned into major issues by some people?
