Lassie Posted June 18, 2006 Share Posted June 18, 2006 In case I had'nt made it clear, we were expecting to pay someone for installing the satellite dish, not just asking for a kind favour! The ads in French property News all seem to be for installers based miles from here (77) and there arent many other Brits around here whom we can ask to find a French installer. ChezShells Posted June 18, 2006 Share Posted June 18, 2006 HiHave a go yourselves, for now it doesn't have to be on the roof, we have ours temporaraly on a wooden pole pushed into the ground.As long as you have a good long clear view in front of the dish, roughly 200m before any trees, with the dish slightly tilted back point south and slowly go east or if you have a digital compass around 50deg, can take a while, sometime we get it straight away (when in the camper).
