pjh
Hello all, My wife and I have just purchased a Chalet on a holiday park, what is the situation regarding the need for a TV license if we put a TV in the chalet. Would every body on the park have their own license, or, would the site owner have have a license that covers all the caravans/chalets?
Kitty
Have a look at:http://www.completefrance.com/cs/forums/703981/ShowPost.aspxIt doesn't cover caravan parks but is more about French TV licences generally.
BJSLIV
I assume that you will be liable for the taxe d'habitation on the chalet. In which case, if you have a TV, you will also need to pay the redevance audiovisuelle, if you don't already pay for it at your main residence elsewhere in France. Nick Trollope
Would it make any difference? The rules are basically the same...!But to answer the OP's question, yes (assuming it is your only address in France. If you have a licence at another address in France & the TV is battery powered, then no.)
