Gyn_Paul
I've set myself up with a Freebox and bought the wifi card to communicate with the PC as an alternative to a cable. Works fine. Then I though what a spiffing wheeze it would be to get it to talk to the lap top, so I bought another card.It is the type which contains the driver file on the card itself (alledgedly), thus comes with neither documentation nor disk. However my laptop says "cannot install network adaptor without driver", so clearly cannot find it on the pcmcia card itself. Can anyone help me out of this loop ?p
LesLauriers
Try a Google search on the make and model number of the card you bought to see if you can find the driver.
Gyn_Paul
Did that: that's how I know there's no obvious driver for it, other than that contained on the card itself.I know the card itself works OK, as I swopped it with the one in the Freebox.p
