Richard-R
I get over 10 of these each week ( I post them on my website) and even get scams in French and German now and them. Now and again when the mood takes me ( boring week on T.V.) I reply and play with them for a while.

Dick Smith
Have you also looked at http://www.scamorama.com/Similar, and just as amusing.I just used to use a hotmail account to send insulting messages about their mothers, close relationships with goats etc., and also forward all scams received to other scammers, as often as possible. But in recent months the number seems to have dropped significantly - apparently the Nigerian and other governments are starting to take the whole thing seriously. About time, too. Cantaliene
About 10 years ago I saw the 419 stuff referred to the National Criminal Intelligence Service section dealing with the problem- the pile went up to the ceiling. Have a good laugh then wipe this stuff .

Cassis
They are funny at first but soon become tedious if you get a lot. NB - Never send me an email containing the words abidjan, cote ivoire etc. as they go straight in the junk folder!
