O2 Cut Roaming charges (for incomming calls)

Recommended Posts

I see that O2 are cutting (i.e. cutting out altogether, not just reducing) charges to receive a call on your mobile when roaming within Europe. It will cost you a subscription of £5 per month.

At present this is only available to contract customers using their O2 mobile when in Spain – see http://www.o2.co.uk/international/travellingabroad/paymonthlyabroad/chosencountryspain but the service will be extended to 35 countries within 8 months - http://www.myfinances.co.uk/News/household/telephones/o2-starts-price-war-$455306.htm

If you are taking an O2 mobile (contract or pay as you go) to Europe you should opt in to “My Europe” which makes incoming and outgoing calls within Europe 35 pence per minute.  Details are on the O2 UK website or by dialling 2266 from an O2 mobile.
