Pommier
I`m sorry to ask another question, but I`m really struggling!I downloaded Internet Explorer 7, because the computer wanted to, but now there isn`t an icon of an envelope that I can click to go to emails. The only way I`ve found to go to emails is to go to Neuf Messagerie and sign on. This gives me any new messages, but apart from it being yet another screen to go through, I can`t find any of the old emails. Where are they, and how can I access them?Apologies again for being so computer illiterate!Cheryl
SC
Installing IE7 may have modified some settings made when you installed your Neuf package. This is hopefully the simplest solution:Try starting Outlook Express from the start menu and see if you recognise this as the e-mail program that you were using before the upgrade. If so check the inbox to see your old messages.Steve
BJSLIV
Click on Start (bottom left of screen) , then all programmes, then outlook express. You should be able to click and drag the outlook express button to your desktop to replace the missing icon.
Pommier
Thanks for the swift replies. I`ve now found Outlook Express and the old emails, but I can`t seem to drag the icon (top left of screen showing an envelope with 2 arrows?) anywhere. Any clues? Many thanksCheryl
cooperlola
Click Start; click "All Programmes; right click Outlook Express (on top of the words Outlook Express); click on "Send to" ; click on Desktop (create Shortcut).

cooperlola
No probs. Now do you have a cure for a couple of pr*ts who thought there was a power cut so sat all afternoon in the cold and gloom, then realised 5 minutes ago that it was the trip-switch which needed to be re-set because a light bulb had blown?[:-))]
Pommier
We did exactly the same thing ages ago after drilling through a cable (oops!). It was hours before we realised it was us, not EDF.
Jonzjob
Tha's one of the good things about fuses. They don't blow when a light goes futt. They take a little longer than the short circuit time when the bulb blows!! More difficult to change though than just flicking the breaker back on...[:-))]
