ali-cat Posted February 4, 2007 Share Posted February 4, 2007 We bought a new phone & it won't work. One thing I've noticed is that is there are only two metal strips on the actual phone socket. The phone in the gite has three - & works perfectly. Are we missing a metal strip or do cordless phones only need two?Please!! Unplug your phone & tell me how many strips are on your phone!! This is not my day for all things technical!!I have managed to get the phone working - & glad I didn't go back to the shop, waving the lead & ending up looking like a right plonker!!
