Clair
I have Firefox (my usual browser), IE7 and Opera, which I downloaded following Dick's advice... I seem to be unable to log in on the forum with Opera. I enter my login and password but I am not logged in.What am I doing wrong???
Dick Smith
Dunno, I've never used Opera. I think I recommended Camino. I'll have a look at it.
Dick Smith
I have downloaded Opera - it imported all my favourites from Safari, but I had to log in when I accessed the forum. I will log out now and see what happens when I come back.
Clair
Sorry Dick, I was so sure you had mentioned it... Someone else must have. My apologies. [:)]
Dick Smith
Nope - I didn't have to log in again, but rather oddly I had to refresh the page to get the messages since the last time I logged in. Did you check the 'remember me' box the last time you logged in?
Clair
Yes I did and the info is memorised, as I can fill the boxes by pressing Ctrl+Enter, but I am still logged out on the next page... Odd...Does Camino come in Windows flavour?I'm trying various browsers as I'm teaching myself CSS and hope to re-write my website...(there's a big pink animal flying overhead! Dick Smith
Does Camino come in Windows flavour?
Apparently not, it is optimised to work with OS X, although it does work with Intel-based Macs. I suspect that it has a Unix core.
Clair
OK that's it, I've resolved the problem... It had to do with cookies, which were disallowed... all fine now, thank you Dick for looking into it.[:)]
