Cassis
I don't know about the cheapest, but Free offers dialup with no subscription charge for 2 cents a minute. Other offers are available. I think Alice does a similar deal.

Most of the ISPs offer dial up in a variety of flavours. it is cheaper to pay a monthly amount than pay by the minute for the same amount of time online. For example with Free.fr - 50 hours per month for 14.94 euros or unlimited at (roughly) 2 cents a minuteThis obviously depends on how much you want to use it.... It is much the same with the other providers - see this chart for a list of all available offersDanny
Lachouette
Before we upgraded to ADSL we had a deal with Alice (formerly tiscali) for unlimited dial-up access between 5am and 5pm, 6 days a week, plus 15 hours outside those times, for 10 euros a month. We had no problems at all with them, and now use them for our ADSL package.Jan
GUEPE
thanks danny .we will have to go into the different packages on offer .ie with television ,and telephone ,and broadband.does anyone use 0044uk telecom by the way?internet will be very occasional user ,tv we switch on only evenings .so its mainly telephone .i would expect that france telecom would lower there tarrifs soon as they are losing so much custom to call diverting companies ?thanks wendy
