Adriana
We want to change our haut débit abo with Orange. The cheapest will do, just as long as it is a permanent, unlimited hours per month and reasonbly fast connection. But I cannot decide before I know what "megamax" means. Is it the amount of traffic you are allowed? I know how many gigabytes I use every month in my main residence, but I haven't got a clue how to do the sums. Of is megamax something completely different?
fulcrum
AdrianaI posted a message but have deleted it because I wasn't able to make clear sense of the CGT. There doesn't seem to be any reference to the number of bytes downloadable per month. I am on normal basic 1mega ADSL and don't pay for number of bytes. I am not sure where else to look.Edit: The MegaMax refers to the speed or megabytes per second
Adriana
Edit: The MegaMax refers to the speed or megabytes per second
Thanks, in that case one megamax will be sufficient. Where did you find the info?
fulcrum
AdrianaWherever it mentions megamax it states "mbps" which is mega bits per second. I did a Google of "orange france megamax".Look down the page and you will see the third entry mentions 8 Megamax with a speed of 8 mbps.
Simon
Yes 8 mbps equates to about 1 MB per sec, there being 8 bits in a byte.Simon
