Martin963
I can't recommend anyone as it's not our area, but it might beworth persevering a bit longer. I would surmise that you've foundHotbird at 13 deg E, so standing behind your dish (ie north ofit!) you need to swing it round a bit to the left (eastwards) - the LNBneeds to swing round no more than 15 cms. In addition you need totip the dish downwards so that the LNB drops about 2 cms (nomore). Then have another search in that vicinity.Make a note of the current position (scratch the positions on themounting or use a chinagraph pencil so that you can get back to atleast one programme!.Of course I may be wrong - I'm only guessing from your description. Is it a skybox (I ask because if it is I'm wondering how it found BBC World, or did you tell it what freq to look on...?)Some of the supermarkets offer a sat install service, it's beenmentioned elsewhere on this section, and as long as you make itclear which satellite you're after (Astra 2 at 28 deg E presumably)they are probably as good as any. cooperlola
Also a local "Pulsat" (franchise) shop will probably be able to help you.
Patf
There's an english language paper called French News which contains adverts for various services including satellite dish tuning etc. Pat.
dogwood
Hi BritI agree with Martin. I think his advice is spot on.The only thing I would add is ( Hope im not stating the obvious) Do this in Set Up whilst watching signal strength. You will probably be unable just to watch for a picture coming in, as this takes some time and if you are fiddling with the dish whilst watching you could possably miss the saterlite.I know this because that is how I tried to do it at first [blink]Good luck. Not that you are missing much on TV anyway [:D]Dogwood
Panda
Hi BritWe used to live near you (recently moved) and when we had a problem with the signal for our satellite we went to the TV aerial shop near the Intermarche in Chauvigny (in the row of shops before the supermarket), I think they are called Pro something or other, they are franchised so you may have one in St Savin. A young man came along with his sat finder and fiddled for about 2 minutes until we told him we had the right signal strngth etc as described by dogwood. It didn't cost much (certainly a lot less than brits in french news will charge). We never had another problem with it after that.good luckPanda
