val douest
When we arrived in France three years agowe brought with us a TV and digibox and linked them up to a satellitedish bought in France, aligned to receive UK programmes. That hasworked fine, but our (fairly elderly) TV has now given up and we wantto buy a new flat screen model here to replace it. Can we just plug inany of the many models on sale in Darty etc and expect the system towork in the same way? Or are there any special features we should lookout for? Many thanks,Val
Bob T
Has been covered many times here. If you connect the digibox and TV via a scart lead they will work fine.
Tim
I agree - I've not seen any sets without scart connectors for sale for years now, so if you get one with scart it should be simple to remove the plug from the old set and put in the new one. If your old set was not widescreen but your new set is, then you will need to go into the settings section of the Sky box menu and make sure you change the screen settings accordingly - also make sure the box is set to RGB output as well for improved picture quality.
