ChezShells
I'm thinking of giving this a whirlhttp://www.gbsim.co.uk/index.html
I used a similar one a couple of years ago (united mobile, called riiing then) whilst travelling in the camper and it ended up costing a fortune, poor reception, getting cut off and having to redial.Lee
Danny
ErnieHave a look here for a similar offer. www.oneroam.co.uk It might even be better value if you compare the tariffs ... I haven't tried them so can't really say but it looks interesting.Danny
AnOther
Thanks for the tip. On the face of it, apart from actual pricing, Riing http://www.thetravelinsider.info/phones/globalriiingsim.htm would appear to be very similar service.I'm puzzled as to why either should be subject to poor service though as both simply go through the strongest local GSM network and once you're into a cell everything from there on is in software so it should work the same as any other phone. AnOther
Just to let you know Danny I've ordered a SIM card from Oneroam and will be in France from around the 15th so I'll give it a good go and report back.
