Martin963
They threatened to do this a couple of years ago. I threatened to leave. They let me go on using the code. Now we have ADSL I haven't tried Onetel for a while, we were getting increasingly fed up with the poor quality (far end) lines.I'll try and give it a go and let you know if it's stopped working for me too. Martin963
Both times I've tried dialling our own number with the 1638 prefix I've got ringing tone (rather than engaged) and someone answered it on one of the occasions.Methinks therefore the code has gone, and maybe you now HAVE to opt for pre-selection.I'll try a friend's number later today and see what happens. JimJams
Take a look at Telerabais (www.telerabais.fr/): cheaper than OneTel (international: 2.8 cts/min during the day, 1.4 cts/min evenings/weekends/holidays) and no separate bill (appears on your FT bill) -- and they don't charge, like OneTel does, for not using their service!
