sueyh
Well we went for it and signed up for completely Tele2 - Line, calls, wifi, adsl and TV. However, got back home to France after a few days in England to find that our package had arrived with wifi router enclosed. BUT we have no telephone line only the engaged tone! BUT we have internet (work that one out!). Any ideas how long these things take?Any advice would be gratefully received. I know! I was warned not to put all my eggs in one basket!ThanksSuey
BJSLIV
I assume that you are trying to phome out through the modem, not by plugging a phone directly into your old wall sockets, as they no longer work when you go 100% Tele2.
sueyh
Hello BJSLIV,Thank you for your response. How do I plug my phone into my wifi modem? Have tried using the green adapter which came with the phone and that does not seem to work! Have a speedtouch ST706 WL modem.Suey
BJSLIV
I've taken a look at the Tele2 guidance, and I note that their box is different to many others in that it says that you should be able to use any socket. I see that you should have a card to give you an hours free support. sounds like you are going to need it!

sueyh
Am I right in thinking that I can plug my normal phone into the modem via the filter type thingy(!) they sent me? Or do I need to get a special phone?Suey
nomoss
You should have received full installation instructions with the equipmentIf not, they are available from http://tele2.fr/ > Click on "Découvrez La Tele2 Box" (on the RHS) > AIDE Tele2 Box > Documentation > Guide d'Installation
