NEUF Telephone landline voicemail ?

I'm trying to make sense of setting up a NEUF voicemail on my standard landline. I have  a France Telecom conection and take a NEUF ADSL and Telephone rate package "ADSL 512 Ilimité". I use my own modem - not a Neufbox.

*9 .... Does this ring a bell?  I can't find anything in my online "espace cliente"..

I have a full degroupee neuf package.  *9 is indeed used to access the phone messagerie, I wouldn't know if it worked on a non neuf modem. You can also access it online, after you set it up in Mon Compte on the neuf website.

Thanks.. However  I think that this can only be used with the Neufbox which I don't want to buy into... I suppose I was hoping for some kind of 3103 France Telecom equivalent.. Seems I'll need to buy an answerphone, but this is no good really as it means I won't be able to access messages from the UK as I turn the mains poser off when absent :o(

I seem to remember reading on another thread that you may be able to use 3103, by dialling the *9 first[I]

If you are still renting your line from FT then you can still access their answering machine service. I think you are probably on the same deal as us where your ADSL and calls pass through Neuf but you still pay FT for the phone line.
