Pierre ZFP
I have just been told about a SIM card offered by Le Clerc which does not expire (well for 12 months anyway)Seems like a good dealhttp://www.vnunet.fr/fr/news/2007/11/21/telephonie_mobile___e_leclerc_a_du_mal_a_trouver_le_curseur_des_tarifs_plus_clairsSeems like the more you call the cheaper it gets.Anyone got one yet? Any hidden clauses?
Tim
Not much response yet Pierre. Like you, I have seen this offer and have looked at it on the Leclerc website - but I'm afraid, that's as far as I've got, so like you I would be interested to know of other's experiences.Tim
Meg
Had a very quick glance over this.http://www.leclercmobile.fr/pdf/brochure-commerciale.pdfSeems you pay €1.50 a month??
Tim
Seems you pay €1.50 a month??
You're right Meg - the main thing though is that it appears that the credit doesn't keep running out - could be good for infrequent users.Tim
Benjamin
So will leclerc be pulling the plug when they have sufficient users just like NRJ did earlier this year?
tarncat
Virgin.fr have also changed the rules. When I bought my phone a year ago it was possible to buy 10 euros credit that lasted 90 days. Now they've dropped it to 30 days (although they do have a promotion of 90 days on at the moment). I think they all play the same game - attract as many punters as possible then move the goal posts.. My purchase paperwork clearly states 90 days but I have had no respose from Virgin to my complaint. Hey ho! C'est normal!
Tim
A quick glance at the promotion posters in Leclerc states that you are required to pay €1.50 a month subscription - perhaps this variation means that it may continue longer than the NRJ debacle. As usual, it's swings and roundabouts - it's probably a good deal if that suits you. Me? I'm still thinking about it.Tim
