ssblack Posted January 19, 2008 Share Posted January 19, 2008 I joined AOL 3 years ago after reading Will's FAQ, using an English AOL disk then changing the telephone number to the French one etc. This has worked great (apart from the occasional hiccup). However, yesterday I received a message (via a popup box) from AOL and from what I can translate, it looks like AOL and Neuf are merging. They appear to be asking me to update my address and they will send me a new disk. What do I need to do, bearing in mind the problems of using French ISP disks? Can I use my Internet Explorer but with the new AOL phone number etc (so that I can keep it in English)? (At present I use the AOL browser). I find all this techy stuff difficult enough in English without giving myself headaches in French!
