Wils
I have just replaced my laptop with another similar machine. Movie clips which played fine on the old machine will not play on the new one still using Windows media player, the sound comes through but instead of pictures I get the randomised pattern on the media player anyone any idea how I can remedy this? Cat
Are you now using Windows Vista and media player version 11? If so this might help...( 3rd bold paragraph down)http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/3519fc03-7f06-476f-a553-dcb5d4284e191033.mspx#E3F
Mr Coeur de Lion
Sounds like you need some codecs. Download and install this codec pack.http://www.cccp-project.net/
Btuckey
I really wouldn't waste your time with Media Player especially if you play DivX movies. Download the VideoLAN player; http://www.videolan.org/Cheers.Brian
