Wils
I have a problem with Outlook express, it has been there for quite a while and therefore I am reluctant to do a restore. I would like to un-install the programme and then re-install again to try to solve the problem, my question, if I do this will I lose my e-mails and address book? cooperlola
You can back up Outlook Express mails and addresses into a separate file before you do this, Wils, then you'll be safe.http://www.iopus.com/guides/oe-backup.htmYou should do this on a regular basis really, just in case your computer throws a wobbly! tel
Hi Wils,I hope you know what you are doing, uninstalling then reinstalling Outlook Express is a long winded process and fraught with pitfalls. As OE is part of Windows you may cause damage to your registry. Surely a repair to the programme would be much safer.See this link: http://www.activewin.com/tips/tips/microsoft/winxp/advanced/8.shtml Regards
