Martin963 Posted April 14, 2008 Share Posted April 14, 2008 I've just used that programme to apparently good effect; my computer was beginning to be a bit slow to start up and I think (touch wood) it's now a bit better. Forgot to fiddle with the privacy stuff but as I don't store passwords anyway I don't notice any difference. Thanks Timco for bringing it to our attention. Tim Posted April 14, 2008 Share Posted April 14, 2008 Glad you've found it to be useful. It's certainly made my machines run more quickly - especially in the shutdown time. I had been searching the internet quite a while a year or so ago, reading all about long and lingering shutdowns on XP. Mine was taking up to nearly a minute to close down.
