Loiseau
I am sure someone super-knowledgeable will be along soon, RH, but in the meantime my humble two penn'orth would be:If it's not listed in Printers and Scanners, maybe you need to reinstall the software from its CD?Another problem I have sometimes is that, because I use two different printers at times, the default one is sometimes not the one the computer is connected to. So when you click Print, and the Print window opens, double-check to see if the right printer is highlighted, and if not then select the right one from the drop-down "select printer" menu.Angela

tj
Press Window key + R to open the Run dialog Start and type services.msc and click OK.2. Double-click the Printer Spooler service, and then change the startup type to Automatic. This sets the Spooler service to start automatically when you restart the computer. Click OK.3. Restart the computorand try to install the printer again.
