allanb Posted July 1, 2008 Share Posted July 1, 2008 I recently had to use my mobile phone twice, in separate emergencies, and discovered something I hadn't previously realized: the screen display is practically unreadable outside on a sunny day - no matter whether I'm standing in the sun or in the shade. (It's a Sony Ericsson T230.)This of course makes it almost useless, as you can't always arrange for emergencies to occur in suitable weather. So I'm in the market for a new one. It must have (1) a really legible display, (2) decent reception, and (3) decent voice sound quality.It does not need to take photographs, play music, connect with the internet, play games, or operate spreadsheets.
