I would like to know if anyone has been or lives in a place called langoelan which is near to pontivy. any information on the above would be helpful.thanks nibs. Phoenix Posted September 4, 2001 Share Posted September 4, 2001 Dear Nibs,We stayed in Guemene sur Scorf,quite close to Langoelan last yearnice little town , bought a house a bit further down the road near Baud ,that area is also well worth a visit , lovely rivers and forests in the area and only about 20/30 mins drive from the Gulf of Morbihan ,our friend who has lived in the area for 14 years is convinced that if you live south of Pontivy , there is a micro-climate extending in from the gulf , and this produces warmer and more settled weather than the rest of Brittany ,how true this is ,I don`t know ,she could be biased of course.In any case ,it`s all lovely and a matter of personal choiceGood luck in your search and keep us posted,Jude & Mark Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
