Don't suppose this post serves any useful purpose but I am the equivalent of demob happy.

Have been in France for 16 months, took about 5 months to get on line, never been able to go wifi because of innumerable problems with Orange Livebox.

Today, neuf box is set up, wifi working and so here I am sitting in front of my French windows (yes, I know the French don't call them that) and having a natter with you all.

Up to now, I have been banished to our smallest bedroom where it is hot and sticky in summer and freezing cold in winter but that is where the modem is!  Also, I was all on my tod away from OH and dog and anyone else who might be calling to see us. How sad is that?

Now I am happy, happy, happy, glugging a quite nice rosé, having done a lot of gardening so am physically tired but on top of the world otherwise.

From now on, you might detect a bit more patience and a certain carefree quality to my posts which in all likelihood have been missing before.

Mind you, still can't send emails, but I'm working on that one!
