proff
I bought this from Castorama , with a twin LNB (Hotbird and Astra) easy set up. I can pick up nearly all UK channels and many others. Just one small problem, every now and again when I try to access More 4, Film 4, or channel 4, I get a message saying " No video signal" next day there is no problem. Can anyone help me please? Pierre ZFP
What is the box reporting as signal quality? (as opposed to signal strength)The dish could be just a gnat's out of perfect alignment or even not clamped quite tightly enough?Just thinking of the easy stuff to check first. EDIT: ...and welcome to the Forum (where are my manners....)
Anton Redman
Try adjusting the dish alignment to maximise signal strength for these channels. There are a number of satellites relatively (broadly with 100 miles) close to each other in space. I believe the Optex unlike a Sky Digibox lets you see signal strength and quality to individual channels fairly easily. The physical part of the post below, as opposed to the bits about the digibox describe fine tuning the alignmenthttp://www.completefrance.com/cs/forums/1362132/ShowPost.aspxIf your LNB is mounted vertically I would also adjust that first to see if their is any improvement.
