edwierdo
This rather bizarre state of affairs seems to have happened in the last two weeks, I cannot comprehend why. Any help or past experiences would be greatly appreciated!
Jonzjob
Hi Ed, is your landline phone via your Livebox by any chance??
edwierdo
No, had a livebok six months ago but it was a disaster so i returned it within the week. I use a 3com modem now, which has given great service. I can't understand why this problem has suddenly matierialised.
Tim
A simple quick check maybe to change or swap around the ADSL filter(s) - they do go faulty occasionally. My step son had the same problem with his broadband in England. Regards - Tim

edwierdo
My hope was shortlived, after a good day of reasonable use, the problem has returned. It is not the adsl filters as i have tried three of them! I am sure the problem must be with the line, there is no conducteur in the phone socket. Any help would be appreciated!
