Richard
I have my laptop connected wirelessly to a Livebox with no problems. I am now trying to connect my wife's laptop as well, but it doesn't get any further than "aquiring network address". The only difference between the two is that hers has XP SP3 on and mine SP2.Any ideas? Thanks

Mr Coeur de Lion
Strange. The service pack shouldn't make any difference really. We have a desktop and up to 4 laptops connected at any one time, all on different versions of XP and Vista. You have done the obvious and pressed the "one" button on the livebox when trying to connect? Or tried turning the livebox off for a couple of minutes and then switching on again and trying to connect again?
Shane
There is a problem at the moment with SP3 coming down on to a laptop. We have two computers, desktops, via a livebox and downloaded SP3 no problem but when I downloaded it on to the lap top I cannot get it to connect, tried button one etc but the only way to connect is to delete SP3 and run with SP2.There are quite a few people with problems outlined on other forums. We are just leaving SP2 on and keeping fingers crossed. Mr Coeur de Lion
Wonder what it is with SP3. The three laptops we have are all running SP3 with no connections problems at all.Silly old Bill Gates.
