sks
Hi Guys I hope you can help. Iam moving with my wife and our dog to a little place near Isle Jordain in the Vienne. We will be living in our caravan on a small municipal campsite untill we find a piece of land or ruin and then moving onto it with the caravan. What I want to be able to do is use the internet and a mobile phone to keep in touch with friends and family back in the UK.I know Orange Fr do some sort of mobile with internet access, and would like to know if there is an English speaking number I can call for this. Also is it possible to get mobile internet access for my laptop with any mobile phone provider i.e using the phone as a modem. Also whats the cheapest way to call back to the UK as I wont have a fixed line.I do realise that I can use the WIFI hotspots and they will be very usefull but I would like to get internet access whilst in the caravan.RegardsSimon
Danny
mobile broadband is available but is pretty expensive. See the SFR site here for example. The more you use it the more it costs. As for phone calls to the UK from a mobile, I have no idea. It might be better to have a UK sim card from somewhere like Oneroam for example.Danny
