nectarine
Friends have just moved into a house and the oil tank is nearly empty. They're on a bit of a budget so want to find the best possible deal or cheapest price. Can anybody recommend a supplier, or tell me what the current prices are please? As always, many thanks for all replies which are always much appreciated! sid
You can get an idea here: http://www.fioulmoinscher.fr/prix-du-fioul.htmlThere is a difference between the standard and premium grades. I have been told by my "chauffagiste" to always use the higher quality grade as it doesn't "wax" so easily in very cold weather and it burns more efficiently and is better for your boiler.I filled up a few weeks ago at 92 cents/litre.Super markets often have their prices in the front window but otherwise you'll have to phone around in order to compare suppliers. In our village there are 22 users on a group scheme and the organiser does all the phoning for best prices; we get a small but useful discount for buying as a group; normal minimum delivery 500 litres in this case.
