powerdesal Posted April 4, 2009 Share Posted April 4, 2009 SWMBO (in France) and I (in UAE) have been using Yahoo messenger voice to talk to each other for some months. Up to my recent leave (returned to UAE last week end) it has been perfect, clear reception on speakers at each end.For the last week it has been almost unusable, clear reception in France but here in UAE I get very 'clipped' reception, losing parts of almost every word. I have tried speakers and 3 x different headsets, all with same result.I have reloaded messenger v 9.0.0.2152, the same version as in France, no improvement.Anyone have any ideas? NormanH Posted April 6, 2009 Share Posted April 6, 2009 A friend in the UK had a similar problem with my calls on Skype.If he was at his business it was fine, but at home it was as you describe.To me this suggests it's a question of a particular line.Are you being bugged ? Bugged??????.........I don't know, cant imagine what interest the conversations between SWMBO and self would be?? Pretty boring I should imagine.
