powerdesal
This may not be the best place to ask but.......I am in UAE, SWMBO is in France. We 'talk' via yahoo messenger (text not voice), we last had contact yesterday evening. This morning I cannot open Yahoo messenger, or my Yahoo e mail at all.Her yahoo is working ok but I have tried all day to persuade my laptop to access yahoo, I get a time out each time. On mail box or messenger.I have tried reloading messenger - no joy. System restore to a week ago - no joy, even attempted to create another yahoo identity - no joy.Defragged, used 'advanced system care', ran spybot, all to no avail. If I was paranoid I would think that Etisalt in UAE had blocked all Yahoo services (for whatever reason) but cannot find any info. I can access all other normal web sites via my existing 3G hook-up.Does anyone have ANY idea what I should do next, its very frustrating.

powerdesal
About 9 o clock last night it all came back to normal, more or less, with the need for a new password ?????? I don't pretend to understand how / why but it now works. At that time I discovered that I could not access the Forum but that's probably a totally different issue. I obviously can now. Thanks for the suggestions and the PM Ernie, I may try that later.
