Iceni
Our Brother mono laser printer has finally had to go to the recycling centre. Before the dreaded "what shall we buy now?" scenario Di ventured into our junk room to bring out my 2002 Samsung mono laser, boxed and unused since summer 2003. After hours of internet research into compatible drivers the Samsung Izzi now thinks that it is a Lexmark E210. And we even have a spare toner cartridge.Luckily Di's hourly rate is modest.I appreciate that normal people don't have spare printers in their junk cupboards but the moral of the tale is "don't give up just because you have a new operating system etc"John
Will
And one of the really nice things about Samsung mono lasers, particularly the older ones, is that it is so easy to refill the cartridges with new toner powder.
