Théière
Are there any forum members who could change a Sky LNB in regions 37/86 near Descartes please?
Pierre ZFP
Is there such a thing as a 'Sky' LNB ?I know they try to push 'Sky Dishes' complete with LNB but wouldn't a universal one from a Brico Shed do just as well?
Anton Redman
Electronically they are near identical but they have a smaller neck and have a different method of attachment to the arm. See adaptors as below:http://www.satcure.co.uk/accs/page1a.htmThere is no special skill required to change on. Just check the dish is tight, unscrew the co axial cable, themove the existing LNB, push on new LNB, screw in co ax connector, check signal quality and seal with boot or self amalgamating tape. A little entertaining if you are 7 metres up a ladder.
