JohnRoss
Bigdish are offering the following kit. Humax Freesat+ complete Kit. Humax digital HD receiver and recorder for Freesat+. Watch one programme while recording another, including High Definition for 469 Euros plus delivery charges of 40 euros. The kit includes a 65cm dish, twin output LNB, 40 metres of coax, cable ties, connectors and fittings etc.Does anybody have experience of this kit and an opinion as to if it is worth the asking price. Really need to replace the Sky box and video recorder soon and wonder if this will do the same job. I understand that we might lose Fiver and Five USA but no great loss methinks.............................................................................JR
Martin963
I think they're about £250 in Britain although others will be more up to date. Those that have Humax's (Clair?) are pleased with themAs you don't need the dish etc it sounds quite expensive unless I'm missing something. A dual LNB is available in france for €40 ish, and mail order from Britain for nearer £12 ish.Indeed, you won't get the spin-offs from Five, at least for the moment.
