Grumpy
I used to spend my lunch time mooching around the net, looking for properties to buy in France. Many a happy hour was passed! I'm suddenly at a loose end now - we've bought somewhere, so there is no point looking at others! Have to start looking at Castorama and Mr Bricolage sites I suppose ! bee
We can often spend a good hour or so trying to find the cheapest ferry crossing. This involves putting in lots of different variations of dates, times and crossings. Then you forget which one was the cheapest so you have to start all over again!!Hopefully at the end of it you get a crossing for slightly less than you paid for your house!(Or not if you are going in the summer holidays!)You could always spend your lunch-break reading fascinating books on how to do up French houses as well.Bee
HelenChaplin
You could spend sometime on the Living France site (but I see you do that at teabreak!!) and the rest brushing up on French. I have tapes and CDs at work. I know how you feel though - I was at a bit of a loss for a week or so and then I found other websites!
