JET Posted November 12, 2001 Share Posted November 12, 2001 Thanks for all your replies it has put it into some form of perspective.We hope to be living in france full time early next year which should help the situation somewhat. I going to the house in december so will have a chat to the local marie and gendarmarie as it does seem someone has chosen the house for repeat visits. This should be fun with my level of french but will hang in there as i usually manage to hack my way through to some form of comprehension by both parties . Wish me luck. roger taylor Posted November 13, 2001 Share Posted November 13, 2001 We had dinner on Saturday with a former French teacher (of French) her family own prpoerty in various parts of France and her dad has a fine big house in a village in Champagne (he is from Paris) His house was broken into and his cellar emptied.
