Quillan
I have Google Toolbar installed with the Spell Checker button. My problem is (and I have had it a while) after spell checking and then stopping it I can't type anything further. To give and example, if I spell check this and make the corrections then stop the spell checker the cursor will not appear in the message area unless I 'Preview' then 'Edit'. This happens both on Windows XP and my new Windows 7 PC's. It's not a major thing just a minor irritant. It does the same thing on other web based text entry systems as well. Turning on or off the compatibility mode in IE8 makes no difference. Has anyone else got the same problem and is there a fix?My version of Toolbar is the latest (Version: 6.4.1208.1530/en-GB (GGLL) Notifier Version: 5.5.4723.1820).IE8 Has all the latest patches installed as well. Pierre ZFP
Can't say I've noticed this but there again I use Google Chrome which I think is brilliant (pardon the pun)I actually find it irritating when I have to use MS Internet Exploder now
Cat
Yes Q, I get it from time to time on this forum, using IE7.The way I get around it is to hit the Preview > button under the post that I'm spellchecking, and then hit the < edit button to take me back to my post. It re-enables the curser, and I am then able to continue typing.EDIT, which, re-reading your post, is exactly what you do too [:$]
