bigclewsy
I have just started looking at the internet sites of estate agents on the net and some are quite good. However I am looking for a property in normandy around arromanche / bayeux area. I know there are estate agents there as I have seen them on my visits over the last few years. Unfortunately at the time I had not considered buying a house then. Could anyone let me know of any web sites or addresses that are specific to these areas. Thank you
0bill thomsonddMMyyyy0Falseen-USTrue
There are loads of agents around - probably your best bet is to visit a site like http://www.fnaim.fr which will give you loads of properties in a particular departement and more details of the agents in that area, as long as your French is up to it or you put it through a translator like Google or Babelfish. I can personally recommend http://www.successimmobilier.com which has an office in Pont L'Eveque run by a Dutchman as well as an English-speaking office near Mortain. However, the only part of the site that seems to work properly is the property database.Billhttp://www.letheil.com
Maggiemortimer
Try www.pap.fr, it's a site that consists largely of private sales, and you can specify the area in which you are searching.Maggie
tuppy
When we were first looking for a property in France we saw an Agent in St Lo, Nick from LM Immobilier tel 02 22 72 05 10. Although we did not purchase a property from him he was extremely helpful. We did buy our property through Annie Deltombe at Eurim in Gorron, Tel 0243 08 41 85, which is in Mayenne. Once again, more than helpful.Good luckTuppy
